Disney is known not only for the attractions but for its food. Chocolate is one of the favorite food groups. There are so many places to get your chocolate fix in but I have highlighted a few of the big crowd pleasers.
Karamell Kuche in the Germany Pavilion in Epcot has two top picks. Everything tastes better with caramel!
Salted Caramel Fudge Brownie
Salted Caramel Filled German Chocolate Cookie
Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in the France Pavilion in Epcot. An all-time family favorite of ours is this restaurant and their desserts are AMAZING!
Macarons – Everybody loves a macaron and these are no joke!
France Pavilion in Epcot by the lake
Chocolate and vanilla ice cream – This looks like your everyday soft serve ice cream. It is not! It is smooth and tastes so delicious, tasted more like a frozen custard. It is a must try while traveling the “world”.
Ghirardelli
“World Famous” Hot Fudge Sundae. Ghirardelli at night has a line out the door and for good reason. Their chocolate delicacies are very popular. The hot fudge sundae is worth every calorie.
Be Our Guest
Master’s Cupcake. Chocolate cupcake topped with the grey stuff. Although the desserts are all good, this one is something you can’t have anywhere else so go for it!
Giant Mickey Chocolate Chip dipped in Chocolate
This can be found in many bakeries across the resort but the most popular is probably Main Street Confectioners in Magic Kingdom.
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in Magic Kingdom
The “Plaza” Ice Cream Sundae has been popular for years with seasoned guests of the kingdom. Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream and a Cherry served in a freshly made Waffle Bowl with your choice of two hand-scoops of Ice Cream.
Tamu Tamu in Animal Kingdom
Malva Cake Sundae. A warm Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce
The Ganachery in Disney Springs
Hand crafted chocolates with unique mouthwatering flavors like Chipotle pepper, Florida orange, Irish whiskey, Italian hazelnut and so much more!
Mickey Bar
The MOST popular and coveted chocolate at Walt Disney World® Resort is the Mickey bar. You can find these chocolate covered ice cream treats on just about every corner in the parks and even at the resorts at their counter service venues.
