Those that love Disney, typically have their favorite treats. These range from caramel apples, sundaes, unique sweets. Many of these can be found at the following candy shops. Even if you are not buying, these spots are fun places to pop in and witness the sweet making first-hand.
Main Street Confectionery-This is a sweet shop featuring old-fashioned caramel apples, peanut brittle & fudge, all made on-site. You will find it on Main Street in Magic Kingdom. This is a favorite as you leave the park. They have a case filled with something for everyone but also have colored M & M s and other fun candy shop novelties. It is so much fun watching them make caramel apples and fudge too!
Goofy’s Candy Shop-This spot can be found in the Marketplace of Disney Springs. It is tucked away by the Christmas shop. Similar to Main Street Confectioners but they have a unique experience. You can create your own treat! You select your treat, dipping flavor, topping, and drizzle. At time of publication, this also counted as a snack on the dining plan. GREAT use of your snack credit and a fun take-home item.
Disney’s Candy Cauldron-Located in the West Side section of Disney Springs. It has a show kitchen where you can really see how the elaborate caramel candy apples are created. They too have cases of fun cupcakes, rice crispy treat, fudge, etc. You can find popcorn, lollipops and candy novelties as well.
The Ganachery-You can find this gem in the Landing section of Disney Springs. The name stems from the star product: house-made ganache which is a rich, decadent mix of chocolate and cream. Wine and chocolate? Yes, you can get a Glass of Sparkling Rose Regale with a Passion Fruit Ganache Square. One of the newest additions is the scrumptious Ultimate Disney S’Mores and are made-to-order. You can even watch your S’more being created in The Ganachery’s show kitchen. The best part is watching the marshmallow being toasted with a blowtorch. If these don’t sooth your sweet tooth, sixteen different flavors of chocolate are made in-house.
