What is the Rider Switch Pass?
If you have a child who can’t (due to height restrictions) or doesn’t want to (too timid despite meeting requirements) enjoy an attraction, your party does not have to miss out.
HOW IT WORKS: Select attractions listed below offer this service. First, your entire party should check in with a cast member at the attractions’ entrance to receive a pass. The adult that will be staying behind to supervise those not riding will be directed to a designated waiting area. The other adult(s) will proceed through the standby queue to enjoy the attraction and then return to the waiting group to “switch”. The adult that waited may bring at least one guest (unless noted otherwise on the pass) with them and proceed to the attraction without having to wait a second time.

Future Rider Cards
At any attraction that your child is too short to ride, ask the cast member for a future rider card. It is a fun souvenir and as a bonus, can be used as a FastPass on a future trip when your child is tall enough!
Disneyland® Resort Attractions with a Single Rider line:
What is a single rider line?
At select attractions in the Disney Parks, you can find queues for a single rider that offers a shorter wait for guests that don’t mind riding an attraction without the rest of their group. You will fill in a seat on the vehicle with another guest so that the attraction’s vehicle is full.
**Often times these lines are not clearly marked. Depending on the crowd level at the park, single rider lines may not be offered at certain times. Be sure to ask a cast member if the single rider line is being utilized when you want to experience the attraction, and where you should line up.**

At the Baby Care Center off of Main Street near Plaza Inn, City Hall on Main Street, Tiki Juice Bar in Adventureland, between Dumbo and Storybook Land Canal Boats in Fantasyland, near Hungry Bear Restaurant in Critter Country, and Innoventions Pavilion in Tomorrowland.
Disney California Adventure® Park:
At the Baby Care Center behind Ghirardelli Soda Fountain, Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street, near Flik’s Flyers in “a bug’s land”, behind Flo’s V-8 Café in Cars Land, and across from The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure in Paradise Pier.
Baby Care Centers
Baby Care Centers are located at both theme parks. They are fully staffed and feature a lot of helpful amenities for parents with infants and toddlers. Services include:
- Private nursing room with rocking chairs
- Changing room with tables and a unisex bathroom
- Feeding area with highchairs
- Kitchen with microwave, oven, and sink
- Main room with television, table, chairs, and sofa
- On site shop offering formula, baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, sunscreens, over the counter medications, and clothing for purchase

The Baby Care Center is off the end of Main Street near the Plaza Inn and the first aid station.
Disney California Adventure® Park:
The Baby Care Center is next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop and across from The Bakery Tour in Pacific Wharf.

If you’re staying at any of the 3 hotels at the Disneyland Resort and are interested in babysitting services, please check with the Front Desk for information about private third-party providers. Associated costs will be determined by the provider and agreed upon by the Guest, independently of the Disneyland Resort.
