A vacation to Orlando is super fun but a little down time at the pool is always a nice way to relax in the afternoon between day and evening events. What better way than floating on a lazy river? Below we have listed some of the most popular ones that are close or on property at Walt Disney World® Resort.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort

Four Season is a favorite of ours and they do not have your average lazy river. Drifters has been outfitted with two spray cannons, a cascading 9-foot (2.75-metre) waterfall and a frothing, bubbling rapids section. The 11,008-square-foot (1,023-square-metre) lazy river snakes its way around The Mansion and offers incredible fun for both kids and kids-at-heart. This is by far our favorite of the ones listed.

Hilton Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek’s family resort pool area was named #1 by TripAdvisor’s Top 10 Fantastic Pools and offers the perfect escape during your next Orlando vacation. This pool is shared between Hilton and Waldorf Astoria. Not only can you drift down the lazy river surrounding by lush and subtropical scenery but you can lounge by the zero-entry, lagoon-style pools as the kiddos splash in the Florida sunshine. You can use your own floats or purchase one at the Splash shop.

Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort

Stormalong Bay is the ever-popular pool area at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. The two sister resorts share these amenities and it has everything a water loving human can want. Catch currents in an expansive sand-bottomed pool. From atop the mast of a life-sized shipwreck replica, zip down a 230-foot-long waterslide, one of the highest hotel slides at Walt Disney World® Resort. Float down the lazy river on an inner tube, unwind in one of 3 whirlpool spas or simply relax on the elevated tanning deck. This is our favorite pool area of all the Disney properties, although this lazy river is not a top of the ones mentioned here, alongside all the other options at Stormalong Bay, it sure is fun!

Wyndham Bonnet Creek

Wyndham Bonnet Creek has a lazy river with innertubes as well as water slides, hot tubs and splash areas. This resort offers condos style accommodations. This is a great option for those looking for accommodations like this and the option to float away on their vacation.
