I can't remember a time I was not a Disney fan. I grew up watching The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights as a kid with my family. When Disney World opened in 1971, my family started planning our trip. My family of 7 went to Disney World for the 1st time in April 1972 and I have loved it ever since. Over the years, I have been there as a kid, newly married, with my young children, with teens, with friends, with extended family, and most recently with my retired husband. I can honestly say not one of those visits was any better than the other. I will never forget my husband's thoughts when I first mentioned going to Disney World. Because we live near Kings Island in southern Ohio, he could not imagine it being any different and he is not a great fan of 'amusement parks'. When I finally planned the entire trip and showed him what it could be, he agreed to go. Needless to say, he loved it and has been there at least 7 times since 2004! His comment to anyone who will listen is, "Do not go without a plan, the parks can be overwhelming without someone with experience to guide you".
